Falling up [lyrics]

I can choose, it’s my choice I can choose what I want to believe

It’s in the book, john 3:16 He who believes do you know what I mean

I want to be falling up, instead of falling down,

I wanna reach high, while I;m flat back on the ground

I want to climb to the top, and my feet don;’t move around

I want all the shortcuts and leave all the stones unturned

I know though that things aren’t that way

The winter are cold and the summers are hot

And 1 oclock in the morning will always be dark

But that is when I will say my day will now begin

Why are you attacking me just because I am free

I’m not your friend but we’re not enimies

The doors that I’ve knocked always stay shut

So I shake the dust from my shoes and off I go

I quit  [lyrics]

I quit, the race got to hard.

I was half way down the track

and realised I was last

I walked off

And did not cross the line

I could not comprehend

The predicament I was in

Where to now was the question I had next

But my soloution was worse than my demise

The answer came at a price

As long as it was me that decided my fate.

I choose now to run in last place

As long as the fear occupies this place

I choose now to run in last place

As long as the fear occupies this place

[I lost and no one knows what happened that I quit the race]

[I lost and no one knows what happened that I quit the race]

From there, life changed to something new,

but something new doesn’t always mean it’s good for you.

Decisions were made without the guidance of others

Now it’s time I go down that road

And see what becomes of me.

I choose now to run in last place

As long as the fear occupies this place

I choose now to run in last place

As long as the fear occupies this place

I choose now to run in last place

As long as the fear occupies this place

I choose now to run in last place

As long as the fear occupies this place
